Use a Cyracom Dual-Handset Phone if possible
Dual-handset phones work with analog (single line phones) telephone lines. They do not work with multi-line phone lines. If a Cyracom phone or an analog telephone line is not available, use any telephone to reach a Cyracom language interpreter (see “Using Cyracom from any telephone” (Adi – make this a hot link) or follow the instructions at the nursing station. The
PIN number is on nursing station instructions or at this link to
PIN numbers .
Using a Cyracom Dual-Handset Telephone
Follow the instructions on the phone. The 1-800 number, account number, and
PIN number are pre-programmed into the phone. Do not use Cyracom phones from another floor or unit.
Document that you used an interpreter and the Cyracom interpreter’s identification number. The Cyracom interpreter number is provided by the interpreter at the beginning and at the end of each call. If you do not hear the number, document, “Cyracom Interpreter used.”
